Come winter and the skin care routine becomes more rigorous as the dry winter air robs your skin off all it natural moisture. But how many of you actually take care of your feet as much as you do with the skin on your face and arms? There are lots of things in your homes which would take care of your feet beautifully.

  • The simplest way to take care of your feet is to your feet apply a combination of lukewarm water and salt, rub dry particularly between the toes for 10 minutes then wash it off.

  • The hot and cold foot-care treatment will benefit the blood flow to your feet. Place your feet in warm water and then again in cold water. Repeat the process. Do this for 20 minutes.

  • Immerse your feet for 10 minutes in a mixture of hot water and shampoo.

  • Cracked heels can be taken care of by a light application of a combination of Vaseline and a few drops of lemon juice.

  • While bathing, first rub your heels with a pumice stone and then apply a high-quality moisturizer.

  • After bath, massage your feet with almond oil.

  • Massage your feet each night with oil.

  • Always wear comfortable stockings and shoes.

  • Apply glycerine on your feet to make them soft.

  • Make a mixture of three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoonful sesame oil. Warm it a little and apply on the feet to cure dryness and cracks.

  • And last but not the least, the best way to protect your feet during winter is to wear socks.
